Instagram has become the default short-form social network in the West, and the demand for offline saves — for moodboarding, archival, repurposing or simply preserving a memorable Reel — has grown alongside it. The Instagram Tools hub centralises Ai2Done's Instagram-family utilities, with the Instagram Downloader as the anchor tool.
The downloader supports Reels (the dominant content type, vertical 9:16 MP4), Stories (24-hour ephemeral content), feed video posts and the legacy IGTV format. For each, you paste the post URL and receive a clean MP4 in the source quality, with the original audio track intact (or audio-only MP3 if that is all you need). Carousels with multiple media items are handled too — each slide is offered as a separate download.
Public profiles are fully supported; private profiles are not because we never store login credentials. For Stories specifically, the public profile of the poster must still be accessible at the moment of download — if the Story is gone or the profile has gone private, the URL becomes inaccessible by design.
